Sorry.  But I've seen nothing to indicate that the Twins have enough to get to the WS, let alone a wild card spot.  I know it's early.  Lot's of season left.  And the Twins have had some bad breaks.  And recurring injuries.  And...  Blah-blah-blah.   Even when I try to keep a positive attitude, it starts to sound hollow.  It sounds like last year.  And the year before.  And so on.

Don't know what it will take to get there.  But it ain't gonna happen this year.  Alas...

You realize they are on pace for 91 wins, right? And that virtually every team with that many wins makes the playoffs? 

Or that they have the second-best record in baseball over the last 70 games? Yes, I know they have to count the first 18 as well, but I tend to put about 3.89 times more credence in a 70-game sample than an 18-game sample?
