TwinsCD Verified Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 As I said last night, a professional umpire should never miss a pitch on the inner edge of the plate. On 3-0, the percentage of that pitch to Soto being called a strike even if it's a couple inches in is pretty high. Hosken Bombo Disco 1

Maybe something like that would snap our guys out of their stupor. 5 minutes ago, Aggies7 said: I couldn’t agree less I was at Yankee Stadium for David Wells’s perfect game. That was kind of a thrill, but NO desire for another one! I’m planning to go to the Stadium for tomorrow’s game. It’s supposed to rain…. Hosken Bombo Disco 1
mnfireman Verified Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Rocco needs to be a little like Boone here, the umpire is squeezing Paddack tighter and tighter and expanding the Yankees pitchers strike zone. Time to WTF the home plate umpire or this team go's limping into Pittsburgh not knowing what's a strike and what's a ball. Patzky and ChermesZ 2
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Nice job by Castro to play that ball well
Danchat Verified Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I was tuning in on the radio, hearing that Paddack had "settled down" after giving up 4 runs in the first... and now there are bases loaded in the 4th inning. I also don't think I've heard radio announcers complain so much about a strike zone before.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Maybe rodon will get rusty sitting on the bench
Longdistancetwins Verified Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Listening of the radio. No way I would watch, even if I wasn’t blacked out.
David HK Verified Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Yeeeesh, what a depressing check-in greeting me this morning. I only wish it were unexpected. 🙄
jkcarew Verified Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I see the Guardians and Royals decided not to play today. Smart.

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Stanton taking second up 8-0 LMAO . Their piddling with the Twins.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 It’s wild to watch a group of professional athletes be so intimidated by an opponent David HK and Tlaker 2
