No team will win many games with 15 strikeouts.  It will be a long year if Twin's batters keep striking out so often. I know Rocco doesn't know what a bunt is or how to have his batters move runners over. Look back on the good old days when we had a manager who knew how to manage games. Wish we had kept Paul a few more years as manager since he knew how to play winning baseball. I think we all keep hoping Rocco will improve, but just do not think that will happen. We could have had at least 2 more runs if we had batters move runners over.

What about Molitor's time as manager makes him superior? Because while he may have played winning baseball, did he manage winning baseball? He managed 3 pretty average teams and one bad one. Looking at the pythagorean numbers, his teams were +2, -7, +2, and +1 against their projected W-L based on runs scored v runs allowed. Was he really out there stealing wins for the Twins based on superior knowledge and execution of strategy in games? Or was he (like most managers in baseball) not as impactful as fans believe?

I recall Molitor as being decent enough, with some strengths and weaknesses. his lineups mostly made sense, his bullpen management was not very good. He was a little behind the times on data integration, but a step up from Gardy. For all that Molly was a great baserunner himself, his teams didn't suddenly become substantially better running. Like most managers he looked good when his players were healthy and playing well, bad when they weren't.

Seems like a whole lot of monkey business for 25 bucks.

Buy 10 tickets for $10 ea. Show up at gate open. In-out-in-out, leave before game start. $150 profit.

Also, did you ever see the lines on Caribou Coffee BOGO days from years past? People would drive like 20 minutes out of their way to save $4. Or the dad who drove 10 miles to save 5 cents a gallon on gas, LOL.

Wouldn't you have to have nine other people with you to accomplish this?  It was first 10,000 fans, not first 10,000 tickets.

Not really. Walk in one gate, walk out. Next ticket. Walk in the next gate, walk out. You could go with a group of entrepreneurial types.

Maybe, but that would have been tough yesterday.  The lines at the two gates that I saw (including the one I used) were long enough to slow down an operation like that.

Most disappointed in Buxton performance yesterday.  2 chances with runner on 3rd less than 2 outs and he does put the ball in play.  If he hits the ball on the ground, even if Cleveland fields 2 runs should score (Kirilloff in the first and Castro in the 7th).   I also don't understand Rocco keeping Kep in the cleanup spot.

The pitching has been better than expected with 5 of the 6 games, giving up 3 ER or less.  It's the bats that are letting us down, sure miss Lewis.

Lol if you’re going to work that hard, you might as well just get a job (not you, just in general)

15 K's !?!? Maybe passable when we led the league in Hr last year, but we are dead last in HR so far this year.

15 bunts would have scored 2 or more runs. Cleveland put several weak balls in play and scored 3 runs!

The next time there is a leadoff triple, they better be bunting!

If we spent another Mill. for Taylor

Gallo is gone. Taylor is gone. They now have Margot who probably should be gone.   I personally would have liked to keep Taylor with the addition of Santana. But the bean counters felt differently.
