Ryan needs nine Ks for 200 this season. It has been a while since the Twins had two guys with over 200 strikeouts. Also Ryan need 5.2 innings to hit 162 innings and qualify for the ERA championship.

For people who don't like the Yankees. They are playing the Royals tonight. Carlos Rodon gave up 6 hits and 2 walks............and never recorded an out. 8 earned runs, a reliever is in and still there isn't an out.

It would be great if the Royals swept the Yankees but sadly they would not have losing season.

With the Twins playing in Colorado, here’s a tidbit I read today. Did you know that in the olden days, Cowboys would hang their lanterns on their seat when they were riding at night? 

It was an early form of saddle light navigation.

I looked at Montero heat charts, looks like he likes it up but small sample size.  He probably didn’t get it in as far he wanted but it was way, way up.  Little bit unfamiliar hotter, little bit holy crap how did he do that.  

The pitch that Diaz just hit was much more meaty.
