I'm going to guess Houck is the Twins next pick. Random guess.

That would be great. I'm still expecting him to go in the last few picks before the comp round

Great pick by ATL IMO, they have drafted so well lately.

Well the talking heads were saying the Twins just got the next Freddy Freeman

I really like Jenkins, glad went that way for sure.

Houck at 34 would be great. We'll see.

I also hope Charlee Soto falls to the Twins. Saw him mocked to the Phillies at 27 approximately a million times. Let's see how accurate that was...

Not very.

Note to 2024 self: Just don't bother reading draft rumors at all.

😂😂 that's the fun in the draft!  Then 60% of the first round will fail and pick #21 will be the best player in the draft and everyone in hindsight will go nuts that we didn't take him.

9:27 Do you know any reason why Houck hasn't gone yet?

Eric A Longenhagen

9:27 There was some buzz that he had injury stuff but I don't know specifics

At this point it could be possible the Twins have the money to push him to them.

Dream draft for me so far I would have done both picks. Wonder if they will have to  go over slot there? Loving what they have done so far.  Keep it rolling Twins!!

I'm guessing Jenkins could be a bit under.  Probably wouldn't have gotten past the Royals but maybe wouldn't have gone 6th.

Has Falvey taken a look at my wish list? Because I really wanted Charlee Soto to fall to the Twins at 34 and here he is! Absolutely love this pick!

The draft couldn't have gone much better so far, in my opinion.

I also like that Charlee actually showed up in Seattle. I don't understand why most players don't. If I was a draft prospect, nothing would stop me from going there and having the pick announced on stage and putting on my new team's jersey for the first time.

Could the Twins go power lefty picking Clemmy? Or going bat this time?

Hope they just keep going BPA on their board -- like the upside plays and I think the farm system needs some upside in it.

Damn, I would have liked Sullivan for the Twins. But there are still a lot of good players left. 😃

Not a fan of that pick but every team has their own board. Would have preferred Clemmy a hard throwing lefty which they don’t have in the system. They have plenty of second base types.  Seems like a reach for something they don’t need.  They need more pitching.  Oh well at least I really liked the firs two picks.

EDIT: yeah reading more at least he has speed and a really good plate approach I just think more investment in pitching would have been a better use of resources.

I'm just reading about the pick, I don't necessarily like drafting middle infielders who aren't SS's at lower levels, but it sounds like he's got a good hit tool/speed combo and can potentially even play some CF.

I like that he's a younger college junior (22). I do think we need more speed that has decent hitting potential in the middle of the field in the system so overall I can't complain.

Based on rankings, it's not a reach.
