I would love to see someone batting behind Gallo, other than Vasquez.  Vasquez is not an offensive threat, and Gallo really has to work hard in order to get a good pitch he can drive.

In some ways Dick is a constant presence. A ball hit to the medium-deep outfield is a "pop-up", especially if hit by an opposing batter.

Maybe a little disappointment in being demoted? Alex Kirilloff was 0-4 with a walk and two strikeouts. Worse, he made three (!) errors at first base.

Perhaps he's shocked that Farmer was playing already after having his teeth relocated for him.
