Smalley (to me) has an annoying voice, but his knowledgeof baseball easily surpasses any of the other commentators. From the pitcher's side I favor Glen Perkins, but he actually has a decent voice. I have a terrible midwestern monotone and would be lampooned horribly by listeners.

Anyone else remember Smalleys 87  bar-rest  1st year of target field ? I had season tix for twins games and bought 20+ gift certificates , from Roys 87 it was across the street , , Bar went belly up and i confronted Roy in a pregame at the field, still had over 100+ in gift cards for Roys , he said his name was all he had to do with it, Maybe so ? i thought it was classless ,  yes i hate his voice !!!

How can mlb seriously talk about expansion when there are teams like the royals in the league? Right now, the A’s are on pace for the third worst winning percentage EVER. The royals are 5th and the white Sox are 14th. Going all the way back to the 1800’s
