Giving 110% effort to try and make a spectacular, sprawling play on defense is not part of the spring training checklist.

Good thing it's most players third game of spring and most haven't even played a full 9 innings of baseball yet this year.

Just a friendly reminder to all that spring stats don't mean anything at all. Players that crush it in spring often do nothing during the season and players who struggle in spring often have great years.

But I can't say 3 errors in one inning is good. And I don't wish to ignore it.

But 3 errors in one inning still sucks.

True, but this is why spring training exists.  It's real game experience to shake off the rust.
