GCTF Verified Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Doe-mitt is starting to heat up. Until he learns to frame a pitch, he's dead to me.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 If he had spent his career in Boston, it would have already happened. As a career average.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Until he learns to frame a pitch, he's dead to me. Or, like Drew, learns to pitch a frame.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Uff Da... I think I've watched 200 innings of Twins baseball and have seen about 12 Twins runs total. I miss 4 innings tonight and the total gets matched. Webster musta had rough flight from Rhode Island.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Meanwhile, Pressley is determined to find a way to get this game interesting again. For us fans, and all.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I think it was the 2 hour mark.Chief, do you remember Chris Short, a pretty good pitcher for the Phillies in the 60s? He was famous for only lasting two hours, no matter how far the game had gone. In '64, in the last week when the Phils collapsed, Mauch twice went with Short too long and the Phils lost both of those games.

big dog Verified Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I really like this version of the Twins' offense, though I don't think Jamie should be playing two nights in a row- if you can't get a hit tonight...
GCTF Verified Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Screw it, Mauer would hit .600 in Fenway. pffft, 13 runs tonight and 0 ribeyes.
