Not sure I see any fit here if we are talking OF for OF.  Yankees have nothing the Twins want.  Diamondbacks are in a situation similar to the Twins

I think AZ works best for NY.  Not sure I see a return of value to the Twins.

Why would they talk OF for OF?

What about reliever Clark Schmidt? Or is he still earmarked for a Yankee rotation spot at some point?

From the article, AZ was asking for too much for their OFs. I’d be happy to swoop in and accept a more reasonable offer.

If they'll eat some of his salary, I'd take Hicks back for Kepler. We need a CF option when Buxton is hurt/DH'ing. The Yankees probably need to throw in a prospect too.

I think there is merit to this idea. Let him hit mostly right handed and he surely would be a good defender in the corner spots.

Just saw that Hicks is hitting 211 over last two years. Had no idea he fell off so dramatically.

And he's hurt a lot, not what you want in Buxton insurance.
