MMMordabito Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Palacios is trying to win the 2023 Opening Day SS job.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Nice of the sox to start a batting practice pitcher.
CRF Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 All of a sudden, Palacios is the best home run threat we have.

wavedog Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Nice to see some offense - it has been a while - thank you Davis Martin
kydoty Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Arraez is on pace for nine plate appearances.
wavedog Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Interesting that despite the expanded playoffs - all the games are meaningless today. All playoff spots and order are clinched - odds of that have to be pretty low.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Well, Louie, they spotted you six. Here's where you put up a zero, if you want one of those rotation spots next season.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 I don’t think a long-shot chance to win a batting championship is worth giving Judge a chance to decompress after setting the AL record for home runs.

I know Gordon has made 3 errors in his last 5 games but he had 1 error there in the 130 innings before, let's not get crazy. Hamilton has not even had a slight chance to show if he can hit, but then ,his bat last year ate up the Twins for Chicago. In 10 years B. Hamilton has 10 errors, any where; this year Gordon has 9.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 This season started with Kershaw tapping out on a perfect game chance, and it ends with Judge tapping out on a triple crown chance. Lame. Roberts and Boone are probably Simone Biles fans.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Watching on Game Day ... Did Martin's arm fall off? I saw injury delay and then a new pitcher.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Arraez might get seven plate appearances today.

Starting him at 2nd base because he has less career OF errors than Gordon does in the IF this season is like comparing apples to oranges. Since leaving Cincy in 2018, Hamilton has hit .221/.282/.308. He's had a lot of chances to show he can hit, he can't. If he didn't have his speed he would have been out of the league years ago. He's 32 years old and will not be around next season.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Great way to end the season, let's score a few more
CRF Verified Member Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Ok...who are these guys, and what did you do with the real Twins team?
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Varland certainly does have potential. K-K-K there in the 2nd after the double.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Amazing season Mr. Arraez! ?
