Yeah, but I'm looking at next season.  Don't think he will be back.

He’d produced enough in September to probably get a bigger contract

We really need to score! Don't think 1 run is going to cut it.

all you have to do is look at this season against Cleveland

I like him but for $35M isn't worth it.  To many needs.

I think free agent pitchers will avoid Minnesota like the plague unless they get a manager that will let them pitch past the 5th inning.

Pitchers care about the money first and foremost on the FA market, and the Twins rarely ever bid on starters, so it is a moot point, but as far as I know there has never been a starting pitcher to decline an offer based upon how often that team pulls their starters 'early'.

Ryan could go the 8th!

MLBPA is on standby preparing their grievance over this blatant abuse of a player.

Guys like Archer and Bundy don't help.  The usually melted down after 4 innings.

Rocco must have heard you today. Or the phone lines/towers are down, and the FO hasn't been able to tell him to pull Ryan..

Damn. I thought Baldelli might have learned something this weekend from Francona. Oh well.

It was a nice pitching performance from Ryan, even if he still had another 20 pitches left.

I was hoping to see him finish the 8th.

How do you know what he has left? Not saying he should be pulled, but this kind of mind reading isn’t really an effective argument, except to relieve emotional distress

with this game  probably meaning nothing in the long run,  If Francona had this choice Guarantee ya  Ryan stays in,   thats how you Develop the staff like he has

The number of Twins fans watching is way down today as are the comments.  Rocco had to listen to Ryan say a few words before he would give up the ball. I like that. Ryan has moved up in my book, with his control and competitiveness.

What did he say? Are you good at lip reading, too?

Win today and tomorrow and Cleveland goes to CWS and we got KC.  Its slim but still a chance.

Maybe what you meant but not what you said.

This is my favorite Joe Ryan moment- his facial expression says everything.

Guys like Bundy and Archer would be relievers if it meant staying in the majors.

Knowledge and I'm watching the game. Ryan has pinpoint control today and has maintained his stuff, both with his fastball and breaking pitches. I never get any emotional distress from Twins baseball. never. I was a fan through the 70s and many other stretches of ineptitude.
