It seems the Twins batters miss a lot of those "mistakes" that aren't credited.

I recall the interview with Mariano Rivera after giving up a walk off GS to Jason Kubel. He was asked about the pitch to Kubel and Kubel’s hit and he said, basically, hits happen. He thought he made a good pitch, but guess not good enough. He wasn’t overly concerned. What he was disappointed about with his performance was that he gave up a couple of walks that inning. It wasn’t about the hits he relinquished. Those were the ‘mistakes,

Still leads the AL in BA but not for long at this rate.  (Scoreboard watching: Devers is 0-1 in today's game so far.  Ditto all four in the top four, as a matter of fact.  Fun With Numbers!)
