Part of it is that we’re so desperate for one of our young arms to produce SOMETHING that we (myself included) got fooled into thinking he’s some kind of ace because he has largely looked more competent than guys like Ober, smeltzer, etc. It’s a low bar to look better than most of our young “pipeline” pitchers though

Current state of Twins baseball; Joe Ryan is left in to take a beating because the bullpen can't cover tonight + whatever is going to happen Sunday. Yeesh. 

Anybody still feel like this team can't add a middling reliever or two and be fine?

Ryan gave up 5 HRs tonight.   Now Baldelli are taking Ryan out.  Ryan should have taken out before this inning.  Baldelli left Ryan way too long.
