FYI speaking of Cruz,  the end of last year and this year, it is looking like father time is catching up to Cruz.  His stats have dropped precipitously,  especially this year even though its a small sample size.

I was really hoping the Rays would've made it to the Word Series so he had a shot at a ring before retirment

This guy is achieving peak performance. My question is did he use PEDs like Tums to achieve the record?

If that is peak performance, maybe I have hope of achieving such a lofty goal

I think team atmosphere (being semi-father for Sano) has a lot to do with his drop, he dropped the instant he left Minnesota.

Oh fudge! That's right! I remember crossing my fingers during the offseason he'd come back to Minnesota

I'm hoping as a batting coach, someday ... when his playing career is over :)

Correct.

I will also have to find a way to watch the game, as MLB.TV blocks me from watching both Florida teams down in these parts. I wonder if a VPN would work? Gonna have to test that out I guess.

Yeah ... a VPN should work ... but if you are in Florida, won't it carried on a local station?

We're cord cutters - don't have local stations or cable, just internet-based TV.

Express VPN works well.

I like cheesesteaks, but that makes my stomach churn just thinking about eating that many in such a short span.

Living in Chicago it's always the contest ... Chicago Italian beef sandwich or Philly Cheesesteak? I know some of you are going to quick with the keyboard and type 'yes', but for me, it's the cheesesteak ... always ... when given that choice

Why not both?

Do you take your Italian beef wet or dry?

Fair enough.

I have leftovers on my mind a lot these days.

Lived in Chicago for 12 years and honestly the Italian Beef was just too much of a good thing. First bite is fantastic, but by the time I'd get halfway through I'd be feeling regretful.

I'll stick to a polish sausage, done up Chicago-style. There used to be a place on Western called Duk's that I'd frequent, they really did it right there.

Ketchup??

Is ketchup on an Italian beef sandwich a thing? If so, I’d rather live in ignorance and choose not to believe it!
