Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 The Twins website had a 'top 10 moments' of Joe Mauer's career up on their site to honor Joe's birthday ... I still cannot get past that clip of his last game, coming out of the dugout in his catcher's gear, without the tears welling up

Same reaction.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 WHY ARE WE SENDING A SLOW *** RUNNER HOME WITH NOBODY OUT

Not because I'm deathly afraid of losing the dh but because neither are very good hitters and it's a shame to use your dh spot on either on of them. Hmmm. They seem to have resented your comment.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 No issue with that send. Jeffers has to get to 2nd base though.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Nobody out, catcher running, why?
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Dumb ... Regardless of outcome
bighat Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Darn, he's out. Aggressive baserunning not working out too well for the Twins so far this year.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Thought he was safe live. I think he's out on replay. Think he got him on the ankle area,

We were in the RF corner instead of straight up from 1B. Didn't have bad seats, but the view from our normal seats would have been so much better.
