Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 This won't launch officially until Monday but I wanted to give you forum users a sneak peak ahead of time. This is really cool and I've been working on it all winter. Every month, we're going to update the stats splits, scouting reports, and rankings to reflect movement within the system. It's also a really handy one-stop-shop for everything happening with the Twins top prospects with related articles and videos for each prospect automatically populating as we add more content about the prospect. Also, there's a handy desktop widget located in the right sidebar that will feature a single prospect who had a note-worthy moment, a great week, or maybe an injury. Check it out and let me know your thoughts! https://twinsdaily.com/minnesota-twins-top-prospects/2022/
Dman Verified Member Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Wow that is awesome! I try to do something similar on my own collecting links and rankings of players but it doesn't even compare to what you have. What you have is a dream site, one stop shop, for top prospect information. I guess I will have to keep track of the guys just outside the top 20 or 30 you have there, but what a great resource that will be. Great job of making this site even better!! Have to say I am impressed with what you did there.

I mean sure, there exists tons of prior art on how to document prospect lists, but I'd be sorry to find out someone else copied it wholesale for a different website, down the road.

That's high praise and thank you for wondering about that. But frankly, if people want to copy this format and use it elsewhere, more power to them. I'm more interested in improving baseball content than making a buck, especially in this particular situation (we have a massive announcement coming in the next few weeks, unrelated to this but indicative of where the five of us are taking the concept of Twins Daily).
Linus Verified Member Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Really cool. I will use this a ton. One of the many reasons I visit the site is that it is the best resource for minors info. This just made it better….
TopGunn#22 Verified Member Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 I agree ! very cool Brock ! Yet another reason for twins fans (and baseball fans in general) to visit this site. I clicked on the Austin Martin profile and yet again, it fired me up. He certainly does need to start at St. Paul and I wouldn't play him at SS at all. If the consensus is that he won't end up there I play him in CF and LF and have him take grounders at 3B and 2B to stay sharp. This also further reinforces my desire to trade Arraez for pitching, start the season with Nick Gordon as the utility player and if Martin lights it up in AAA bring him up when he's ready to play LF primarily, but other positions if needed. It sounds like this kid is just a BASEBALL player. He could be a Gold Glove LF'er (ala Alex Gordon) or a Chris Taylor type Swiss Army Knife. I think i'll be checking this out all spring and summer.
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Another reason Twins Daily is the place to go to for anything re: Minnesota Twins!!! By far the best site for Twins baseball!
