I wouldn't put much stock in that. The Orioles could easily finish fourth or fifth in that division.

The Chicago Tribune picked the Yankees to finish 4th, and Red Sox to finish 5th in the East. I always hope for the small miracles.

I think what I like most is that the team is winning close games. With the lack of bullpen depth and worries about starting pitching, it's nice to see this team clawing out these 4-3 type games.

Best part about it, they are leading the toughest division in baseball this year - all 5 AL central teams are at .500 or above.

They look like the Bizarro 2005 Twins. Instead of RF/RA being almost equal in the high 600's, they will be almost equal in the high 800's

Last year, it was May 17th before the Twins won their second series. By that time they were 10 games out of first place. It's mostly dumb luck that they did that in the first week of the season this year, but it's a hell of a nice change from last year.
