  1. The guy I feel for is Buxton, he's got to almost feel like he was demoted to AAA with half the team gone.
  2. I'm not saying he had a decision in this. I'm saying his incompetent managerial skills is what led the Twins to burn it all down
  3. We witnessed the Minnesota Twins burned to the ground today, and who’s left standing? …..the guy that lit the match……Baldelli
  4. Whoever it is, they need to remember that we are tuning in to watch the game and the play-by-play is there to enhance the game experience and not the other way around. I've watched plenty of other games and the booth guys seem to think that we tune in to strictly listen to them babble on and on and on,
  5. I don't see how they can keep Popkins around when you look back at all the strike outs and the often abysmal batting with runners in scoring position. There were so many times during the season that it seemed like the batter had decided he was going to swing at the pitch no matter where the location was before the pitch was even thrown. I know guessing at the next pitch is parting of batting, but I think this team needs more of a see the ball, hit the ball approach.
  6. My biggest fear going into the playoffs was if the 3 hit / double digit strike out Twins would show up……….
  7. Hope Polanco brings his A game tomorrow. He was off
  8. Arod has got to be the worst color commentator in MLB
  9. Feel bad for Ober, I trust him over Ryan at this point. Hopefully we'll never see Gallo in a Twins uniform again.
  10. I am deathly afraid that the 12K, 3 hit Minnesota Twins team will rear it's ugly head. They've play much better the second have of the season, but we've still seen the high strikeout, low hit team plenty of times the second half.
  11. I'm just amazed that anyone can throw a baseball 104 MPH and hit a 4 Sq. Ft. box from 60+ ft away on a fairly consistent basis.
  12. To be honest, I don't care who's playing in the OF during the playoffs as long as his initials are not J.G.
  13. One thing that scares me the most about this post season is the appearance of the 12K Twins offense. The pitching will be fine, but you don't win in the postseason striking out in double digits.
  14. Yeah, The original 87 Homer Hanky is by far the best one.
  15. Definition of a scapegoat: A person who is blamed for the wrongdoings, mistakes, or faults of others, especially for reasons of expediency. Gallo and Luplow are not scapegoats. Their faults are 100% self inflicted.
  16. Not blaming the umps at all for this sweep, but they probably were the only thing that was more inept than the Twins this series.
  17. I watched a team that was not particularly interested in continuing on with their season.
  18. Things that frustrated me: 1. watching these guys swing at almost every curveball they saw. 2. Polancos lazy defense in the 9th. 3. Pulling Maeda too soon. 4. Romo.....been trash ever since Cleveland got under his skin. 5. 17 straight. 6. As much as I like Cruz, he’s been underwhelming. Starting to play his age. 7. Sano had a good week or so run but for the most part is a big disappointment. 8. Donaldson even when healthy is a non factor.
  19. The old man has only been a Twin a short time and even shorter when you look at games played, but so far, is he the best FA signing in Twins history? My top 3 prior to this year were: 1. Molitor 2. Morris 3. Davis A lot can change between now and October, but I Am tempted to place him number 1 already. There are few players in Twins history that has me glued to the TV when he’s up to bat like him. Kirby Puckett being the exception. Convince me otherwise.
  20. Sometimes language is hard
