sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Dickerson got a Buxton double...
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Did I read on one of these threads that Rooker's OPS over the last bit of time was in the .900 range? I didn't realize he'd shown that improvement. If there's any thought that the improvement is real, he's on the team in 2022. We desperately need a RH OF to play when Kepler (should) sit and to DH. He can't play CF but Kepler and Celestino can...
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 gggggeeeeez ... Polanco ... you have a great bat ... but I hope you aren't playing SS next year
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Over throw by Polanco. His arm is too strong for Short? Tie game... Mutter mutter.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Just now, sampleSizeOfOne said: Over throw by Polanco. His arm is too strong for Short? Tie game... Mutter mutter. And runner scores from first. Down by 1.
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 This inning is why we need a SS for next season. Can't make that kind of error against a good team. We need a steady defensive SS behind this pitching staff to have any sort of chance.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 More "B" team Little League play by your Minnesota Twins.
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Wow, just heard that the Twins have allowed 70 unearned runs this season The combination of shaky pitching with shaky IF defense is deadly. I love Polanco but he needs to play 2B. We gotta get a good glove SS for next season.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Buxton wallball!!(!)
downunder twins fan Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Now we are cooking with gas
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 okay ... that's the way to make up for that throw
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Does that make up for the overthrow?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Wow, offensive eruption against a very good starter in Ryu!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 And please ... do NOT TRADE DONALDSON!!!

Indeed, but this team doesn’t hit well enough to overcome the Simmons black hole
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 THREE IN A ROW!!!!!!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 A walk is one way not to give up a homerun... Not that Refsnyder was much of a threat.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Nice inning, but they have to do more than slug. Pitching, defense, and base running are all lacking.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 6-3... Toranto takes a turn at the long ball...

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 But only one in a row.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Twins: 6 runs, 6 hits, 2 errors. Jays: 3 runs, 3 hits, 1 error. We have just played twice as long as them?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 wow ... that was a nice catch
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Nice catch on the Buxton fly.

Where is the traffic so bad? Walking in traffic does have few inherent dangers... But traffic doesn't seem so bad in the game thread. Still, it behooves one to look both ways before posting.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Did anyone ever mention that Sano is athletic for a big man? That was a nice exchange between him and Pineda. Rarely has the ball been outweighed by so much fielding.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Will polancos play at s.s. Hopefully send another hint to rocco and the f.o., Love him at 2b, and now with simmons hopefully DONE , quit showing all of us what we all know, anyone got the Front Office # be glad to call
