Gordon was brutal in centerfield initially - as one would expect given his... zero... innings there - but it seems like he's polishing up at the position quite quickly. He may have a future as a no/little bat roving defender who can play a lot of places that aren't SS.

I get it with Ober given his history but the five inning start is just part of baseball now and it's not for the better of the sport.

I'm not saying that, only that cursing Rocco for making the logical call and watching a reliever vomit all over the mound AGAIN isn't really his fault.

Especially considering the tools with which he's been given to work this season. He literally can't make a "right" decision because the entire bullpen spends pre-game bathing in gasoline.
