h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Hmmm.. Morneau thinks it would have been a homer? I don't. It was coming down steep. We will never know....

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 If Ober can set them down in order, he doesn't start the 3rd time through until the 6th. Only 59 pitches so far......

RpR Verified Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Hmm, it seems the Twins have cock-eyed jinx, or annoying problem; on the days the boys with the best batting averages hit, the bottom boys do not; when the bottom boys have a good game, the higher boys quit hitting, strange indeed.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Gordon was brutal in centerfield initially - as one would expect given his... zero... innings there - but it seems like he's polishing up at the position quite quickly. He may have a future as a no/little bat roving defender who can play a lot of places that aren't SS.

RpR Verified Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Baldelli has such a knack for picking bullpen pitchers to screw a good start.

gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 I suppose I'm just venting but I really hate that the Twins are just doing the five inning start thing. I really hate that type of baseball.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Josh has zero ****ing legs anymore.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Josh Lombardi should probably just stay at first.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Amazing, the only guy out of about 30,000+, missed the call. And his main focus was to be watching the slide and the base.

I'm not saying that, only that cursing Rocco for making the logical call and watching a reliever vomit all over the mound AGAIN isn't really his fault. Especially considering the tools with which he's been given to work this season. He literally can't make a "right" decision because the entire bullpen spends pre-game bathing in gasoline.

RpR Verified Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 I should know as I have been watching the Twins since they were brought over from Washington, but can a player switch positions during a game?
