Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Setting ourselves up for a vintage 105 pitch 4.2 IP outing from Happ tonight.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 It was a ball, but Happ wants to get tossed
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 That was a dart from Rortvedt. Perfect spot.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 The Royals have the most stolen bases in the AL, I’m guessing they have the most caught stealings also, an equally important stat that’s never mentioned. They actually have a worse record than the Twins, so what good has it done them

If your success rate on SB isn’t ~70% or better, you’re doing no better than breaking even on offense and likely hurting yourself.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Way to advance the runners, Nelson. Still have to play fundamental baseball with an occasional bomba.
Rigby Verified Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Jinx alert. Good start for Winder in St. Paul. 4 hitless innings.

Typically I’d want to see him settle in for a month or 2, but he’s the only healthy option with upside at the moment.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Kaat was also a good baserunner, enough so that he was used as a pinch runner on occasion.

LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Kepler is…. Not good. Seriously, he is not good.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Tell me if you’ve heard this one before. The Twins leave the bases loaded. It’s too bad Refsnyder is injured. Kepler’s needed a reset in St. Paul for weeks.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 We missed our chance to trade Kepler for a haul... now, when he's supposed to be in his prime, he's a shell of his former self. Yes, I know his overall track record isn't great, but since returning from injury he's been abysmal at the plate.
