And lefties are called ‘northpaws’...and their fastballs can reach 160.

Actually, righties are called northpaws.

Innunciation is difficult. Especially for crowds.

"Kroudz"

Not difficult at all.

Nice turn of the DP to end the inning.  I'm looking forward to the Twins going enough days without anyone getting hurt that a double play ball doesn't make me think 'Oh crap, three chances for someone else to go on the injured list'.

Who does Rocco bring in after Rogers retires the leadoff batter in the 9th?? Really no good options.

Relievers aren't allowed to face the first batter and get pulled anymore...

Good point.

What does that imply if a pitcher gets injured?

Do the batter he was required to face get automatically walked?

Gordan gets that.

As expected.

Ooh, sorry.

"Buxton catches that" is the comment we were looking for.

Thanks for playing.

In honor of Chief's wheelchair joke, here's the main ingredient for tonight's chicken dinner.

Byron better stop lollygagging in St Paul or he's about to get Wally Pipp'd.

Jeez.

It was too well disguised, apparently.

The pitcher can be replaced after the one batter without penalty in the event of an injury.

The only other way being if the leadoff guy hits into a triple play.

Kudos to the bullpen.  They gave Shoemaker and Colome a much needed night off.  Those two'll be rested and ready tomorrow, though!

He had to face three batters.
