It honestly looks like none of our hitters care about winning. It looks like they don’t want to even be there. 3 hits in 7 Innings against 6 ERA Zack Plesac. Pathetic.

It's interesting to watch other teams play the Twins - even if the Twins get up early, they never put it out of reach. Then the opponents put together a few hits late and think "hey, we can actually win this thing" and they start bearing down. The Twins meanwhile start to mope and much like their fans, wonder who's going to blow it this time. Body language experts would have a field day with this.

Apparently there's a spreadsheet somewhere that says "stolen bases are irrelevant. Just ignore opposing runners."
