SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 I speculate that is how come Garver is in the lineup today... This is the detective work I long to see around these parts
big dog Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 It's fun listening to Gardy being interviewed. Happy to have Rocco, love listening to Gardy,
big dog Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 All right, let's get this starter out in the 3rd inning. That would be fun.

ashbury Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 What's a gullant? It pertains to sea creatures. Nautical but nice.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 What do you stop after the presses? The bleeding?
snotboogie Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 It pertains to sea creatures. Nautical but nice. Huh. I thought it was from Highlights Magazine. You know, with Goofus.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 The bleeding? Sure. Good thing to stop. No time for bleeding.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 NOT meaning to re-create a SSS post that already exists elsewhere, BUT, it's hard not to look at Garlik's ST and first few opportunities and his great throw from RF Wednesday and not wonder if the FO didn't bring in a solid contributor.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Garver love ya, but you pull the close pitches up way to much and its costing Berrios, Cmon Man !!!
dex8425 Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Wow, Laz Diaz isn't very good either.
Mauerpower Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Berrios showing some emotion after more bad calls and the strikeout!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 Rain... The meteorological interuptor.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 I've got nothing going yet on MLB.tv Is there a rain delay?Yes. Though it took a while.
snotboogie Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Since we're in a rain delay let me tell you how crummy I felt today after yesterday's 2nd COVID shot.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Yes.Though it took a while.Sorry, "no" was the answer we were looking for at the time.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 I saw a stat the other day after Bauer had a 12K game that only 4 pitchers have ever started a season with back to back 12K performances. This rain delay is putting a big damper on Jose becoming that 5th pitcher on that list.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 Sorry, "no" was the answer we were looking for at the time. Sorry... I had to wait for the rain before i answered.

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 It's fun listening to Gardy being interviewed. Happy to have Rocco, love listening to Gardy,IMO, Gardenhire did a good job while he was the Twins manager. Yes, he's "old school" but so was TK. And to this day, there are some good things about being "old school" such as defense and fundamentals that STILL PLAY today. I LOVE Rocco as our manager and think we have a good one! With no disrespect to Ryan, who I appreciate and feel did a lot of good things in his time, Gardy's final results might have been greater had he been manager with the current FO's ability to assemble a team. Of course, would Ron have accepted the new analytics that Rocco embraces? Hmmm...maybe...maybe not. But a little better team and depth might have still seen better results overall. Still, whatever, I like the guy. And having him in the booth makes me laugh and smile. And I've always found his comments to be honest. It was fun to listen to him and he brought some good luck.

MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 That delay seems to have helped Berrios get his command back.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Just getting back from a long day...nice to see the Twins on top. Looks like Garlick is having a nice day once again, and sounds like Garv sauce has made some solid contact. How has Kepler looked vs the lefty?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 Would you rather I talk about my prostate and lumbago?Psst. Phrase it as an either or question for Chief's benefit.
