Eh, not likely. The Twins ran up 37 K's on BP just over the weekend.

What if another team needs a guy to throw BP?

early season Fun with Numbers--Brent Rooker's first pitch strike percentage is 150%.

But he battles his tail off...gives 110%.

What if the team is running low on baseballs for BP?

Maybe some Nerf balls for him. I don't think another team would give up regulation MLB baseballs for a pitcher who gives up hits. A pitcher's job is LITERALLY to not give up hits or walks.

Robbie Grossman has an average of .000, but an OBP of .615.

That is insane.

Brings to mind, a former Washington Senator (Griffith organization) third baseman Ed Yost. He wasn't a high percentage hitter, didn't have great power but still led the league in walks several times.

Twins generally not punishing Urena enough for his lack of control so far... Far too many swings at marginal pitches, given how wild he's been.

Interesting strategy to walk the 9 batter on four pitches to get to the leadoff guy that can't be gotten out.

TIme to make a grilled ham and cheese with leftover Easter ham.

I'll be back.

This is a Twins forum, we only care about Robbie Grossman's fielding percentage.

Watching pitchers like Urena is painful. He can’t find the zone and seems to throw roughly two pitches a minute.

I'm sure that it's just as riveting for the defense behind him.

That was all due to the defense being too preoccupied with Sano's speed on third.

Which was exaggerated due to the defense falling asleep behind a pitcher that can't hit the broad side of a barn.

If we've got to deal with replay, the very least they could do was get it correct.

...or you just go ahead and hit another anyway!
