Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 The Twins claimed OF Kyle Garlick from the Braves today. Can’t believe they peeled him away from that franchise.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 The move sure reeks for Waddell, since he got the DFA.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted February 11, 2021 Author Posted February 11, 2021 Kyle was raised by many Garlicks in his life. I guess, you could say he’s Garlick-bred...

Ben Noble Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 His minor league track record of power relieves me of concern that he's only a Pungent Judy hitter. No need to mince words, naan of us want an Herb Washington on the team.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 But he will still look in the cloves of baby blue.
strumdatjaguar Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 After a bad at bat, take a powder.

NCtwinsfan Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Let’s just hope he doesn’t stink up the clubhouse like the last Knoblauch.

AceWrigley Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Mugato from Zoolander, "Gar-a-licte!"
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 I won't mince words about this; Ray Pepper, Chili Davis and Kyle Garlick would make for a tasty outfield.
dbminn Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 He's only the second garlicky Twins player. I always cracked up hearing Chuck Knoblauch's name after I learned that it means garlic in German.
Dave The Dastardly Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 This deal leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
RedBull34 Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 I think it's about thyme that a well-seasoned team like the Twins added a player like Garlick. I think just a dash and *presto* out will come a team we all savor to watch. Hopefully he's worth the dough that the Twins are paying him.
Yargwin Verified Member Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 His OBP (odiferous bulb percentage) in the minors was pretty appealing.
