Formal Game Thread.

Attire expected.

Please have your invitation ready.

You will be announced as you enter.

Please wait for the previous person's fanfare to finish before making your entrance. (well, walk up music if you will)

For everyone's protection, please keep your masks on. And your helmet or glove, or shin guards... arm guards chest protectors... ciurass, gauntlets, greaves... Say, this is a safe game isn't it? Oh yes. Inter action is limited to balls and bats.

Please sit down and allow the bar to lower snuggly onto your lap. Please keep your arms and legs inside at all times, and wait for the ride comes to a complete stop.

There will be embarassing photos of your facial expressions available at the end.

Without further ado... (indeed, i've quite run out)

So we have so called fans here hoping for the Twins to lose? Because somehow that is a path to victory? Because we are afraid of the Yankees? I hope the Twins win out. I don’t care who we face in the first round, I actually hope it is the Yankees. The Twins will beat the Yankees this year. All cowards please stay away, you can’t handle it.

It's 2020, the year of the absurd.  So why shouldn't this be the year the Twins finally slay that beast?

If they did, think what it would do for them.

If it's ever going to happen, it would seemingly be most likely this ridiculous excuse for a calendar year.

Oh stop it, no one is “hoping” for a loss but you’d be a darn fool to “want the Yankees”. They’re a better club even without the almost 20 year curse. Call me crazy but I’d like to see a playoff win, haven’t seen one since before I got my driver’s license. My patience has grown as thin as my hair. We match up better with the White Sox or even the rays. I guess that makes one a coward Or a bad fan.

White Sox and Yankees lead, Cleveland has fallen behind as the tigers apparently are galvanized by gardy’s retirement
