Another fine Mess-age...

 

I had an epiphony* as i pondered this intro. Detroit is actually Moe-town. I leave it as an exercise to the Reader which of the other Stooges corresponds to which Central Division Rival...

 

But of course, that leaves the eternal question of self identity... if we know who we are, do we really need to know who anyone else is? It is undoubtedly open to discussion. Could any pair of comics epitomize our beloved Twins? If we was winnin' on the Road, Bob and Bing might be an obvious choice, but we ain't. Bud and Lou always seems too obvious, what with the oft quoted baseball sketch, but i would like to consider Stan and Ollie myself.

Anyway, as far as the game goes, I'm pretty confident of our chances with Maeda on the mound, but this line up in particular makes me proud.  Rooker batting clean up.  Buxton all the way up to the 7 hole.

From what I've seen, Schoop has been more impactful in 38 games than he was for 162 for the Twins. Good for him.

Born and raised in Duluth Minnesota I have been UMD Bulldogs Hockey fan since middle school. And of course a North Stars fan but I’ll admit I didn’t follow them too closely. I lived in Vegas when they moved to Dallas and I couldn’t believe a pro hockey team would move from Minnesota to Dallas. So I’m a Knights fan and I want to see the Dallas no stars go down. I attended and graduated from Ohio State. I had friends from those days who also couldn't comprehend how that could happen. Until the Browns became the Ravens. Then they understood.

Yeah, it’s a lot of fun watching the Bulldogs beat the Gophers. And the Bulldogs have won three National Championships since the last time the Gophers won one, great rivalry.
