stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Why you have to live with all the strikeouts. Now, after saying that, what if he could reduce those Ks by say 20%?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 who do you send, Clippard? Yeah he was greatwell he wouldn't be starting the inning 1st and 3rd, no out. And as is often the case, you end up using your bullpen anyway. It was certainly defensible to send Maeda out for the 7th, but IMO, a mistake.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Detroit will probably send out Soto for the 8th, then Farmer?
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 well he wouldn't be starting the inning 1st and 3rd, no out.I guess my point is, Tigers we’re bound to score that inning, Twins don’t really have anybody available just to shut them down. This wasn’t gonna be a 2-1 win, sometimes you need offense
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Nice play all the way around, good pitch, quick throw despite a huge jump, nice catch and tag from Marwin.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Great peg by Jeffers!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 In play, run(s), please
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 One of my favorite types of double plays
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Great peg by Jeffers!Yeah that was impressive
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 OK, Farmer for the 8th, then who pitches the ninth for them?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 OK, Farmer for the 8th, then who pitches the ninth for them?I hope nobody.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 OK, Farmer for the 8th, then who pitches the ninth for them? i doubt it, Who's an infielder.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Rare up the middle base hit
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Send Wade on the first pitch. If he gets thrown out, you start the 9th with Polanco.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Not Reyes in center Dick.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Not Reyes in center Dick.Hes probably concentrating on his next book.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 This HP umpire tonight has been nearly flawless.

Now, after saying that, what if he could reduce those Ks by say 20%?Reducing his K% by 20% would put it around 16% That is quite a bit below the league average of 23%...I don't think that is happening. However, if he can lower it by 6-8%, which is doable I think, it would be a massive improvement
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 How about a bloop and a blast for a 4-3 walk off win.
