Crackedfungo Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 We have no idea what Pineda will provide. No idea if, or when, Odorizzi will be healthy and productive. Hill is iffy at best. We don't have 5 starters ready for the playoffs. We agree. We have no reason to have confidence in Hill, or Odo this year, Pineda (yet), Berrios (in each start), nor in several of our relievers that double as spot starters. I would like to see some changes to pitching staff ASAP. What did we learn last year with Dobnak and Graterol? How about Alcala this year? Why not add 1-2 young guns that have great stuff and se what they can do?
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 How can the force at home go away on that play? Seems strange.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Having to use our best reliever in the 4th inning lolShould have been used earlier in the 4th.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 How can the force at home go away on that play? Seems strange.Once they forced the runner from first (at 2nd base), the runners at 2nd and third are no longer forced to run. Edit: ninja'd
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Should have been used earlier in the 4th.Did you old timers (not a jab) ever think you’d see the days where starting pitchers consistently couldn’t even reach the 6th inning? It’s so tough to watch

I think this year made everything about starting pitching exaggerated, too, with short "spring training" and 10 man bullpens.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 I'm started to get tired of watching Cave. He's sporting a 35% K rate and hasn't provided any power. Jeffers has hit well so far, even if it's been only singles, but perhaps Larnach or Kiriloff could do the same in Jake's spot.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 There should be a law against Applebee's being allowed to use the theme song from Cheers.
bighat Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Arraez played it wrong , he should have thrown home, then third, or Polanco could have tagged the runner wandering off of second.... and Bremer called it a triple play, he was totally lostBremer called it a triple play, then spent 5 minutes saying there should be at least 2 outs.... Then during the replay, he completely changed his tune and acted like the Twins were nuts for challenging the call.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 It'll be called the World Series, and the Commissioners Trophy, like any other year.I like my name better because this is not like any other year.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Get a dp if you go to second, do these guys even practice anymore
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Sano played that well, once you turn and face the infield they’ll usually call the infield fly
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Get a dp if you go to second, do these guys even practice anymoreIt’s been an ugly game

It wasn’t that complicated, was it?
