Some feel that he's been purposefully trying to hit Avila's mitt with his bat today while swinging, he's reached twice on catcher's interference so far.

that was kind of a joke, you had to be here... i Do feel Soler hit Avillas glove intentionally, that would warrant a good drilling

I think *one* felt he was intentionally hitting Avila's glove.

 

How did he do that? Was he looking back and down while swinging?

If you can't hit the ball (remember all of Soler's whiffs last weekend), hit the catcher's glove. Something did seem off there.

you could look at the ball and make a good guess as to where his glove was, the swings on both those plays looked odd to me, so yeah I believe it was intentional

I've heard a lot of whining about the players being confined to their hotels during road trips. But think about the umpires. They, presumably, have the same restrictions ... and they have no home games at all.
