I thought Thielbar's fastball was around 94-95 (with his new approach/arm slot)? So far between his two appearances I've seen 89-91.

 

He didn't even throw that hard when he was actually a decent pitcher for a year and a half.

A lot of early runs tends to do that I guess.

Sure they do, but last years teams would burry teams when they got up early. This team (sans the one game in Chicago) has yet to do that this year. Seems like they are content being up 3 or 4 runs, and tries to flip a switch if/when it is needed again.

Soft schedule, will be interesting to see how this all goes. 10 of 17 coming up against the royals, coming off of 4 with the pirates. Not exactly the gauntlet

Offense hasn't put together many innings after the opening weekend.

It’s the royals bullpen, man. I think I see Al Hrabosky out there
