70charger Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Damn, Garv. At least make it interesting.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Graver has just looked inept at the plate this year.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 How things can change in ten innings, YIKES
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Swing the GD bat, Garver.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Rosenthal is a good story for KC. If he keeps it up, I’d trade a prospect for him to help this year.
70charger Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Do they show ump stats/grades somewhere after the games, or is that all internal?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Rosenthal is a good story for KC. If he keeps it up, I’d trade a prospect for him to help this year.he'll be one of the most expensive pieces traded. But you can only trade from the 60 person roster.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Time to stop just tossing the ol gloves out there and expecting wins.
bighat Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 A couple pretty bad games in a row against a couple bad teams. Still looking good. White Sox are on fire though. Gotta get the next two here, no more "throwaway games" please.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Oh well. Nice challenging game to learn from.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Time to turn on the Wild game. I'm an Islanders fan, but can root for the boys!
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Welp. We just lost back to back games to the Pirates and the Royals. Not something that should be happening. We threw none of our top arms tonight, and only gave up 3 runs. I didn't expect the offense to be shut down by Jakob Junis and the Royals bullpen. The offense was not there at all tonight, which is starting to become a slightly worrisome trend through 2 weeks. Hopefully we can bounce back this weekend and take 2 of 3. Until tomorrow, Go Twins

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Was he thinking of a different Caleb Thielbar?I remember reading during Spring Training that Thielbar was hitting 94/95 and was looking really good, which I thought was why he's here... but he's clearly the same guy he was back in 2013-15. Not worth being on the roster IMO.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Giving up 3 runs when basically using your B pitchers is not bad... but you won't win games when the hitters rack up a measly 5 hits. Too many hitters are slumping at the same time...
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Thought you’d be a Crunch fan I've been to a couple Crunch games. I lived two stops away from the Barclays for four years so Isles games were easy and cheap to get into. Never paid more than 15$ for tickets and probably went to twenty or so games. I'd rather go to 'Cuse hoops games than go to the Crunch.
