That's exactly how its done but only if you don't actually believe its true.   That is what Spring Training is for.  We make fun of those fans that make that kind of hindsight, unreasonable comment during the season.    Then once the regular season arrives we become the fans that make that kind of hindsight, unreasonable comment but no longer believe its hindsight or unreasonable.     There should really be an instruction manual for TD commentary.   I'm thinking a good project for Randball.
