Diesel Verified Member Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Usually this is a 4-6 week recovery. He will be out for the first Twins-Indians series, given that he will have to play rehab games to make up for spring training. I feel bad for the guy. Lots of very unlucky injuries during the past few years.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 I'd feel bad for him, if he hadn't taken the potshot at Polanco. While he's under the knife, maybe they can remove those feathers or whatever that is in his hair.
Doctor Gast Verified Member Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Feel sad for him too. Wish him well & a speedy recovery.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Now add Carrasco to the pile. Keep that bug in Goodyear/Cleveland and away from Fort Myers/Minneapolis.

scottz Verified Member Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Lindor being out of the central and out of the AL would be amazing. Good for the Twins, but bad for me because I think he's my favorite player to watch in person.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Lindor being out of the central and out of the AL would be amazing. Hmm, I wouldn’t mind if he stuck around the central and in a Twins uniform.
KFEY93 Verified Member Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Good for the Twins, but bad for me because I think he's my favorite player to watch in person.I think he is really annoying, only because he is good. I will never deny him of that. He always wrecks our pitching so I would be ecstatic if he would be gone. Thats just me though.

hmarkose Verified Member Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 According to my calculations, if Clevinger was scheduled to start opening day, then he would not be pitching in the first Twins-Indians series on April 6-8. It would have been Bieber, Carrasco and Civale. Now with Carrasco's beginning the season in doubt, I will have to redo my matchups! I know, get a job...

Can you imagine the fan response in Cleveland if they traded him to us and he decided to sign a long term deal? Then proceeds to destroy them every year? That town would burn

They cleaned up the Cuyahoga River many years ago.

There are some guys who are annoying because they're good and they play for the other team (Thome with the White Sox), and there are some guys who are annoying because they are annoying and are doubly annoying when they are good (Pierzynski with the White Sox).
