A lot of my favs have been mentioned like the squirrel on the field and Eddies throw at Fenway...I think making Arrianza the manager for today is cool! I hope all our players will be ready to go Friday. I thought maybe Kepler and Gonzalez would play today or pinch hit. Rocco is playing it shady maybe so NY doesn't know who's on first! Let's win this one!

Heh, I just thought it would be a fun thread if everyone posted some of their favorite highlights.

That said, I’m fine with the Yankees winning the home run title, as long as we beat them in the ALDS.

 

Losing the title does not insure the other. Neither does winning it. I don't even see how they are connected. I say beat them and bury them any way you can and at every opportunity. I am not "fine" with losing anything to them ever. Win 102, tie the team record, and take home the home run record that we had the lead in all season long. Then go beat them in the ALDS. I am much finer with that. But some settle for second. At this point in the season and the year and record books........ I have to think more positively and with conviction. I have had my fill of losing to the Yankees. 

 

I am glad the Twins are feeling me and MY vibe. 2 and counting.....

I did not have the patience to track down real stage make up as i'd like to (i got friends who pride themselves on realistic blood and bruises and the like, and i did not wish to have anything much longer than a minute length, just in case someone actually watched it.

I want to win games first and foremost, as that’s what counts most. While a record is nice to get, it just doesn’t matter to me ... winning games does. So, if that’s the trade off, a record for a championship? I’ll take the championship any day of the week, and Sundays. Of course it’s nice to beat the Yankees anywhere, anyhow. Wasn’t what I meant. I just don’t care as much about a record as I do about winning baseball games in the post season.

Dick not a fan of a player making a mockery of the game by playing all nine positions but has raved about Tovar doing the same thing countless times over the year.

 

Much like him suddenly stating that home run record doesn't mean anything to him.

 

He is such a hypocrite.
