I am honestly shocked that they've had that many chances with the RISP but without the bases loaded!

Well, it appears that while Thorpe isn't the greatest pitcher, he does seem to have some mental toughness, so there's that.

 

Now then, on to Duffy, Romo, and Rogers please.

Here's a fun fact for y'all: In 2019, there have been 49 catchers with at least one plate appearance who were drafted in their draft year higher than Garver was as a 9th rounder in 2013. One of those, Realmuto, has accumulated more WAR than Garver (4.0 WAR). Realmuto (4.4 WAR) has about 585 plate appearances. Garver has about 345.
