ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I don't remember a more confident looking second baseman than Jonathan Schoop. / ninja'd
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Approximately 8 more, unless they're leading by end of the top half of the ninth.Maybe you'll beat me out for that FSN color commentary and analysis job.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Also, if you’re not in the Twin Cities, the air and sky have the feel it could start downpouring at any moment—though it’s been noted rain is actually not forecasted. Still feels like it might.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 As good as Arraez is with the bat, when he plays second, I really miss Schoop's fielding. Dude is slick and pretty much makes all the plays that are hit to him. Agree And that arm.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Wade hasn't struck out yet. Will today be his first?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 As good as a year that Adrianza is having for his role, batting him sixth is a sin.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 When I am not ninja’d ?Didn't I just say that, earlier in this thread? / no
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I've done it for high school basketball for a buddy once, lolI find any work similar to that exhausting - what was your experience when you did that?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Wade hasn't struck out yet. Will today be his first? There it is.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Wade hasn't struck out yet. Will today be his first?Knock it off.
Blake Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Maybe you'll beat me out for that FSN color commentary and analysis job.I doubt it. Face made for radio and a voice made for mime.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Didn't I just say that, earlier in this thread?
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Marney with the bad news about Ryan Braun Christian Yelich. Quite the slip of tongue.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Schoop didn’t get the “work the count” memo.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I find any work similar to that exhausting - what was your experience when you did that? It was fun. I really enjoyed it. Only thing that was really tough was getting the players names. Talking about the action and what was going on in the game was relatively simple as I coach and have played basketball pretty much my entire life. It was a little exhausting as you do need to have something to say pretty much at all times. I ran a radio show in college so being "on air" wasn't really too nerve wracking.

PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Eddie gives away a run. Or three.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 How I feel about Rosario the past three weeks.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 #RouteEfficiency #HeadintheGamenever mind...
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 How good would Robbie Ray, Mike Minor, or Marcus Stroman look in the rotation right now?

It's the constant focus that I find wearing. Can't really do it. There are many reasons I would not make a good Official Scorer, but constant focus would likewise be #1 in that job too. "Wasn't watching" is a poor excuse. So if you enjoyed it, why haven't you sought out amateur opportunities?
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Eddie gives away a run.Worse than that. Ugh, what a pivotal play. We need Buxton and Kepler.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Say good night, Dick. Good night, Dick.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Morneau wouldn't go to "should have had it". I will.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Might as well start parading all the call-ups out there and see what they can do.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 That about answers the “I’d like to see Rosario in right” question, I’d say. That should be an error in Rosario. Really costly.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Annnnd the Angels leave the bases loaded in the bottom of the first.
