I don't think people know how good Kyle is, generally. He has the 40th lowest ERA among all MLB qualified pitchers, and top 30 fWAR.

 

And, he gives up a double while i'm typing.

 

I don't think people realize how hard pitching is in this live ball era.

Yeah, there just aren't that many "good" starters in the league.

 

It does, however, feel like Gibson is reverting back to the guy he was in 2016-2017 with his 5.07 ERA and about 1.5 WHIP instead of what he was in 2018.

Coming out and getting just demolished early once again. Gibby pitching at a snail's pace, just like Perez did the other day. I hate the "shoulda coulda" stuff, but man did this team blow their chance at adding a bonafide starter.

 

At this point the Twins are going to have to hope to clean house on Detroit and KC. Head-to-Head right now against teams like Cleveland, Atlanta, Yankees, this team has been absolutely blown away.

I get your joke, but for one, there won’t be 6 “bombas” a game in the playoffs, which is apparently what the staff needs in order to pitch well
