Game Thread: Oakland A's @ Twins, 7:10 p.m.CDT

[Aggies7]

I feel like Sano is going to tie the game here.

How do you feel now, 3 pitches later?

[Riverbrian]

I feel like Sano is going to tie the game here.

I feel nothing but "Too much Prime Rib".

[Squirrel]

I once heard someone say it’s not who you play but when you play them. The tigers were somewhat competitive back when we faced them, but since then are something like 11-44 since May 12 [tweeted by reusse]. The royals have been bad all year but played the twins tough

Yeah ... I mean ... it's all such a crapshoot ... and it ain't over 'til it's over ... so save your energy for the long haul

[Reider]

Sano took too big of a swing on the 98 mph high strike out pitch. He definitely shouldn't have been chasing the ball in the dirt earlier in the at bat either. Good pitching by Liam Hendriks.

I remember watching Hendriks pitch many times........I don't remember this.

[Mill1634]

Wow...

I add Liam Hendricks to the top of my trade wish list.

That was impressive.

[Aggies7]

I know hendriks is an all star, but wtf was that from sano and garver?

[John Kelsey]

Like a hot knife through butter.

[Aggies7]

I had to check baseball reference to make sure it was the same guy who was essentially awful with us

[Blake]

Okay, time for a walk-off win by the Twins!

[twinsnorth49]

Doesn't really matter what kind of swing you put on a 98mph pitch that up in the zone...…….you are unlikely to hit it.

[Danchat]

Wow. Total domination by Liam Hendriks... it's hard to believe Oakland DFA'd him a year ago and now he looks like this.

[USAFChief]

Just checked in to say, the next time someone tells you velocity isn't important, show them those six pitches.

And awful is being generous.

[Darius]

Doesn’t help when the ump gives him 4 inches inside for strike one on both ABs.

But good grief Hendriks is impressive. Something ain’t right there.

[Aggies7]

Wow...

Similarly, I just put Jennifer Lawrence on the top of my date wish list Edited July 20, 2019 by Aggies7

[operation mindcrime]

Wow! Liam Hendriks has aged like a fine wine!

[Blake]

How does Davis miss that pitch? How does that happen?

I think the stifled laughter as the pitch floated over the plate might have had something to do with it.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Radio guys said Rogers was also warming in the pen.

Not sure I’m a huge fan of that, if true.

[Aggies7]

That’s an immaculate inning between hendriks and littell

[Blake]

Yeah, location doesn't matter quite as much when the hitter doesn't so much see the ball as hear it as it goes by.

Might as well run him in to the ground at this point, right

Get in line bub.

It's not important if you're Trevor May! Edited July 20, 2019 by operation mindcrime

Dude was flying around the bases

Our chances with Liam are considerably better.

[twinsnorth49]

Semien reminds me of Alexei Ramirez, just always hits against the Twins.....annoying.

[Aggies7]

Our chances with Liam are considerably better.

“Our”?

[Mill1634]

I know now may not be a great time to say it, but Littell will become a very good setup man within the next two years if he can develop a pitch to go with that new fastball

[Aggies7]

I missed my 10,000th post. ****
