yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 So, that dumb pitch to Santana notwithstanding, May and Rogers look like a solid late inning combo. Littell looks like a solid back of the pen guy. Parker had a brutal stretch from late May to mid June but has otherwise been decent. Harper has been good most of the time. So, I think what the Twins need are two guys to slot in between the level of May and Harper.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Arraez is our best hitter. And he's 22.His future's so bright he ought to wear shades!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 so many missed opportunities my god
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 OMG, Duffey is warming up.In that case, time to start getting very nervous about the state of affairs.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 That sequence of events would not have been normal the first couple weeks of the season, but now its routine.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 I hope this isn't the way we're going to have to win games in october. it won't work

Darius Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Come on. The win was right there, all they had to do was put the ball in play somewhere. A rested Hand facing Cave, Schoop, and Kepler is curtains. The sweep would’ve been great (and probably should’ve happened), but it’s hard to be upset about the series as a whole.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Morin and Magill are on the roster, right? I’m not sure either is better than Duffey, but I know neither is much worse.

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Adrianza has to hit for Cave against Hand I would think.

Mariano Rivera retired. The question is there anyone out there better. I’m not sure there is.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Perfect time for a soul-crushing rally by the visiting team.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 And here we go. Way to get us started, Ehire!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Twins won’t go far with this bullpen, especially if their top three starters pitch a combined 14 innings in a three game seriesThis times a million. I know it's 2019 and starters aren't expected to ever get more than 15 outs. but that only works if you have a bullpen.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 is there anyone that could PH for schoop?
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 is there anyone that could PH for schoop? Gibson's pretty good with the bat.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Honestly I've seen enough of Schoop already. Milwaukee benched him last year after trading for him. Once Cron comes back I hope they bench this guy and let Arraez play 2b full time.
