So the plan is to pitch Rogers in every close game until he implodes from overwork?

 

He only threw 21 pitches last night and hadn't pitched before that since the 18th.  2 on, none out, 8th inning in a 3 run game...I have no problem with them going with Taylor here.

I think going to Rogers here is an enormous mistake. Baldelli can’t act like be’s the only guy out there. Rogers will never hold up.

 

3rd appearance in 7 days....is that really over working?

While I think using Rogers like a fireman is good I also agree that using him at all today after two last night isn't is too much.
