stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Author Posted June 22, 2019 Longer counts here in the seventh. Berríos still good for the eighth, but a nine-inning complete game looks unlikely.

I wouldn't say unlikely. His season high pitch count is 109. If the Twins can get a couple runs and Berrios has a quick 8th he should get a chance at the 9th.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Two into the fountains today.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 guess they both borrowed sano's new bat.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Two into the fountains today.Could have been three but Cron has a poor sense of direction.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 pfft. Not into the fountains. Does that even count?
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 No water hazard in left field on this course?
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Cron the line drive home run specialist
70charger Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I like insurance runs. I am looking forward to seeing the home run update in the recap thread.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Author Posted June 22, 2019 When Cron squares it up.....wow!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 OK Jose, one more inning, then see where we're at heading into the bottom of the 9th.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Should be Cron vs Santana for the 1B ASG starter. Both have pretty similar numbers. Everybody needs to vote.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Gotta dig what Cron has done, to me if he can hit above 260 and keep his k-rate ok , unlike Sano,s k rate
bird Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I thought I'd stick to what I consider a valid comparison...the guy that took his place on the field. With RBI, a measure of production I consider incredibly important to winning. That's no fun.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 That's no fun. OK. He's doing it at approximately 20 percent of Mauer's 2018 salary.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Can our pitching not collapse again please?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Not to worry, the pen's got this.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Hope this doesn't require an IL stint.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Gotta get him out of there if it's a blister. With the off day Monday that gives him until Friday to get it healed up.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Hope this doesn't require an IL stint. That would only be one start.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Yep, those long balls couldn't happen to a nicer guy, Duffy.
