Mind.Boggling.

Tampa has received permission to investigate playing half their games in an empty Tampa stadium, and half in Montreal (who I assume would have to build a new stadium for only 40 games to be played in it a year).......

A recent study discovered that 40% of people age 18-24 have not used deodorant or antiperspirant in the last 30 days....

I don't know about you, but as a teenager I smelled disgusting. Especially after playing ice hockey. I feel for the parents of these kids because they have to smell terrible.

Mind.Boggling.

what? Wow.

Could you imagine how bad your house would smell with 2 teenage boys that didn't use deodorant?

in 10 years (technically in 9, but anyway), I'll have 3 teen girls and a teen boy all at the same time. I've already underarm stink-away to two of them after sports.

Another major thing to me...is there anything more useless than pure deodorant? It's cologne/perfume in stick form. I've had to ensure I had antiperspirant since I was probably 8-9.

If they aren't using soap to wash off beneficial bacteria, it won't be too bad. There are a lot of people going natural.... and that includes no deodorant. I'll pass. Especially since it takes 30 days for your skin and body to adjust.... that would be horrible.

I use shampoo about twice a month. It took about 4-6 weeks for my hair to adjust to not being needlessly dried out every day.

I usually only use shampoo if I get dirty or sweaty.... which is usually a few times a week. For your skin, sweat is helpful because the salt helps kill the stinky bacteria; in case you were considering not using deodorant.

Not considering that, no.......

You and me both... I'm generally a sweaty person where antiperspirant is a must. I've made the mistake of not looking at the stick closely enough and ended up purchasing pure deodorant. The pit stains were real that day...

There's going to be a study in the future that will say 50% of people my age lost significant hearing from wearing headphones at high volumes.

What?

There’s a topic about this in the Other Baseball forum. FYI.

In further diabolical news, young people may be growing horns from phone use.

Note: with us older folks, apparently nobody would notice.

This is a great example of how lazy reporting runs rampant through our institutions.

It's only going to get worse if there aren't consequences for reporting blatantly false information. Sadly a vast majority of people will browse that headline on social media and instantly believe it...

And here I was under the misapprehension this was supposed to be a funny thread to relieve some of the stress of the pointless bickering going on in some of the others.

My mistake. Be seeing you.

There’s like four good websites left on the Internet (five if you count Twins Daily)

Twins Daily transcends being just a website and is something bigger at a higher level (what that is I am not sure).
