So far, they've done nothing with the money they traded for this year, at least nothing has been reported.

 

I thought Fangraphs had a list of July 2 prospects, but I only see 6 players, so I asked if that was right in today's chat. I'll let you know.

The big name connected to the Twins for the upcoming signing period is Dominican CF Enmanuel Rodriguez. MLB.com ranks him eighth in the class and compares him to a young Eddie Rosario with "the potential to have above-average tools across the board." Batting practice video linked here if you want to check out his swing.

I’m kind of excited about the DSL Twins. If I remember correctly, last year they had numerous players with huge OPS numbers and a catcher who stole home!

 

I understand all the the caveats, but it will be fun.

Found this on the mlb at bat site, in the transaction section. That was all the information listed.

For those of you asking about rosters, they are up on the MiLB site.  The DSL Twins began play on Saturday, losing 13-4 to the Yankees.  Took a look at the roster and nearly 2/3 of the team are first year pros.  So this will be a very young team, the youngest I remember.  Expect the won-loss record will reflect that. 

 

By the way, Urbina led off, playing center and getting his first hit...a double.

I finally found a baseball Oscar Corporan signing by the Twins at this weird Czech baseball site "mlbcz.com":

But no further info beyond his age, height, and weight.

 

Although using Google Translate on the mlbcz.com home page tells me that Josh Bell was named "Batsman of the Moon".

Nearly all of them have deals in place, and so few scouts have even watched the guys that are about to sign. So, they can't get updated information.

 

They can get information on 13-14 year olds though.....

Yeah, I mean I'd agree. I probably adds content, but probably not qualify content, which then only leads to "why didn't my team get such and such ranked guy" and "my team crushed with these guys I've never heard of" stuff. Even more mainstream and justifiable rankings are starting to feel a bit click-bait-y these days.

July 2nd! An international player is eligible to sign with a Major League team between July 2 and June 15 of the following year if he is 17, or will turn 17 by the end of the first season of his contract. I completely plagiarized this!!! Because I don't know how to copy, cut or paste things!!! This is what popped up on Google when I typed in July 2nd international signing period!!! \m/
