Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 If Grossmean is in the long term plans of this team... never mind. Save the warning point.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 How the heck does Grossman not score on a double off the wall that takes a high hop, with two outs? UNHOOK THE PLOW!I guess he figured early in the game he shouldn't play for one run by going hard the whole way.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 That was a pretty nifty play by Forsythe.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 What the heck does Logan Forsythe have to teach Kohl Stewart? I'd give a nickel to eavesdrop on that discussion in the dugout. Funny story: ...(and by funny, I mean not that funny) I heard someone on the radio a few weeks ago (Atteberry, Molitor, don't remember) and they kept talking about what leadership Logan (Morrison I assumed) was showing by always coming to the park early, doing clubhouse stuff, "first to arrive last to leave" and all that, and then mentioning how he would go into Molitor's office to give him tips and share observations and whatnot. First thought: That's weird, Logan Morrison has only been here for one season, that's not his role. Second thought: Didn't Bud Norris and Mike Matheny get in trouble for that in St. Louis? Third thought: Oh my god, they are talking about Logan Forsythe, and, umm... huh?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Those two pitches to Sano simply cannot be called strikes. The strike zone was ridiculous last night too. Part of that was Garver, but the Cleveland starter was consistently getting 2 inches off the plate to every LH Twins hitter. Molitor needs to get thrown out when that stuff is happening. You can't just let the umpire get away with that.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Sano's problem of swinging at sliders outside isn't going to help when this ump is calling strikes 4 inches off the plate.
S. Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Those two pitches to Sano simply cannot be called strikes. And then he was forced to chase the following pitches just as far out of the zone, because the ump is garbage.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I did something really unfair to a long time friend of mine, an ex military communications guy. I sent him an apology using a series of dots and dashes. That's right, I used... ... .... Remorse Code.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 What did one cat say to the other cat after catching two birds relaxing in the sun?

LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 What did one cat say to the other cat after catching two birds relaxing in the sun? I'm tempted to say I give up, but my life coach would be furious.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Sometimes I forget how much negative value Grossman brings to this team. But it doesn't take much to remember.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 There's a saying down here in Texas that describes what we saw from Grossman... Bless his heart. He's trying!
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Still no cure for the common Kohl...Summertime Blues, not neither.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Robbie- that was Gross lookingTried to do his Jake Cave impression there, but lacks the panache to completely whiff and let the ball travel to the wall.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Grossman future Twins HOFer.
