Buxton has to be called up soon. He’s got a Sheboygan sausage promo to fulfill (according to the radio broadcast) in early September

I have yet to see a better first baseman handling Sano's throws than Joe. If Joe doesn't get signed back, Sano becomes that much worse.

I’ve found that women are prettier (when I’m) on grass.

Went to an Italian restaurant with Mrs Ash the other night.

 

They had a sign out front, "We Support Legalized Marinara".

...and bleeder through the infield... and induced popup three guys still are working on corraling.

 

Hardly a great start. But there's a lot more gray area in this performance than the Gameday readout shows.

At least I remembered to edit the part about going out to dinner with Mrs Chief. That would have been awkward to explain away.

Not a bad outing for Busenitz, as he finally got some swings and misses. Unfortunately the defense is giving out free runs today.
