He could make his own luck, no question, with some better stuff or at least better execution of what he's throwing. But he could easily have been out of this inning with no runs scored, even with the leadoff double.

IMO, neither yet. He's a 4th round pick with good, not great, stuff.....

The ground ball and bloop hit I can chalk up to poor luck. The rocket triple to lead off the inning, the HBP, the two walks, and the line drive double down the line...on him. He could have easily been out of the inning with no runs scored? Yeah, no. Edited August 21, 2018 by Aggies7

I think we are seeing why the FO was reluctant to call up pitching prospects earlier. Now, as a result of Gonsalves very short start, the Twins will likely be forced into a roster move to bring in a fresh arm or two.
